¡No puedo creer que ha pasado ya un mes desde que estuve en Seattle para el curso en creativeLive! Fue regresar y tener una inundación de sesiones por realizar y editar (de la cual todavía no me recupero) y he tenido tiempo para poco más que trabajar y entrar a la rutina. Así que la experiencia sigue estando ahí a medio digerir, todavía fresca en mi memoria.
Hace un par de semanas conseguí hacerme un huequito para fotografiar a la yoguini y el cuñado y probar algunas de las cositas que nos enseñó Sue Bryce en el curso pero hasta hace unos días tuve tiempo para editarlas, porque requieren más que sólo tocar una ojera por aquí, y una arruguita por allá. Hasta ahora mis fotos de maternidad eran bien simples, casi siempre en fondo blanco y con la ropa que trae cada mamá, así que yo integro su estilo con el mío, pero ahora, se trataba de crear un concepto, manejar texturas y darle un toque final más cercano a un cuadro.
Y tengo que decir que ¡Me encanta! Próximamente me verán llevando mis sesiones hacia esta línea, porque creo que es original y les deja un recuerdo mucho más atemporal, independiente de las modas y la ropa de esta o la otra marca.
Ya me dirán ustedes lo que opinan con este cambio, por lo pronto chequen lo guapa que se pone cada día mi hermanita, lista para convertirse en mamá. ¡ya casi, ya casi!!!
I really can't believe a month has gone since I was in Seattle at creativeLive! I came back to an overwhelming amount of sessions to realize and edit and haven't really caught up yet, so I've had little time to do anything except work and keep up with the rutine. So the experience of the trip is still fresh in my mind, lot's of things to do and practice yet.
A couple of weeks ago I took a day and went home to photograph my yoguini sister and brother in law and tried some of what Sue Bryce taught us, but it wasn't until this last weekend that I had the time to edit those photos. Up until now my maternity photos have been very classic, laid back, white background, moms choose their clothes and I only would edit a little face line here or wrinkle in the clothes there. But this style goes beyond, I had to pick up the fabrics, the flowers, create a concept and then make an editing with far more depth and texture, closer to a painting.
And I have to say I love it!!!!! Now you will see I will push my sessions more into this style, because I think it's original, and gives the moms a more valuable and timeless memory.
